Mrs. Thasia Domiano

  I am thrilled to be the assistant principal of curriculum and instruction at Independence High School.  I have been in education for many years as a teacher and administrator.  I obtained my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Southeastern Louisiana University and ultimately received my graduate and plus thirty degree in administration and supervision from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Through my years in education, I have added the certifications of special education teacher, child search coordinator, supervisor of child welfare and attendance, and supervisor/director of special education to my teaching certificate.  I look forward in aiding my fellow administrators, teacher, and students in continuous academic growth for our school.  I anticipate seeing an abundance of academic success of college and career ready students from Independence High School.
