Assistant Principal - Mrs. Kimberly Boast

I am excited to be the Assistant Principal at Independence High Magnet School. I served many years as a Science Mentor Teacher Leader, Virtual Science Teacher, and 504 Chairperson. I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master's of Education in Educational Leadership, a Masters Plus 30, and an Educational Specialist Degree. I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana, Nova Southeastern University, and Southeastern Louisiana University. I am a supporter of teaching excellence which promotes student achievement. I am here to serve the community by building and collaborating with stakeholders that promote opportunities for students to be leaders. I believe students will use skills learned at Independence High Magnet School to pursue college and career opportunities that will make them viable assets to the global economy and world.
