Literacy Integrations Specialist

Hi, my name is Pauline Williams. I am currently the Literacy Integration Specialist and Title 1 School Coordinator. Prior to this assignment, I was a Reading Teacher for 20 years, 18 of those years have been in the middle school. I worked as a  LaTAAP Mentor Teacher for three years and a part-time instructor for Southeastern Louisiana University Upward Bound Program for two years.
  I hold a Master's degree in Elementary Education and a second Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision. I also retain an add-on certification in the following areas: Reading Specialist and Computer Literacy. I completed the Tangipahoa Parish School System Leadership Academy training.   

I am a native of Independence, Louisiana. It is an honor to serve the students, their parents, the teachers and the community as an educator at Independence High Magnet School. I am passionate about all students receiving an education.    

I am married to Andre Williams and we have two beautiful daughters D’Andreas and Cassidy, and two little furry dogs, Meeko and Lucky.
